Sundown is a vibrant American IPA that showcases the multifaceted profile of Nelson Sauvin hops. A collaborative effort between Elusive Brewing and Tap Social Movement, this bright ale utilizes Bliss processed hops and SubZero Hop Kief to deliver an intense sensory experience. The aroma is dominated by New Zealand hop character, bursting with notes of crushed white grapes, gooseberry, and a punchy tropical medley of passionfruit and mango. A clean, grainy malt base provides a lean foundation, allowing the firm bitterness and complex hop oils to take center stage. It finishes crisp and dry, leaving a lingering, resinous fruit impression.

Appearance. Medium gold to light amber (7-8 SRM) with bright clarity. It supports a medium-sized, persistent white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by Nelson Sauvin character: white wine, gooseberry, and intense tropical fruit. Low, clean, grainy maltiness provides a subtle background, with a clean fermentation profile and no noticeable alcohol.

Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward with flavors of passionfruit and grape skins. Malt flavor is low and crackery, supporting a medium-high to high bitterness. The finish is dry and crisp with a clean, lingering hoppy aftertaste of tropical fruit and light resin.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly creamy texture. Carbonation is medium-high, creating a lively mouthfeel. No harsh astringency is present, with only a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
