Genesis is a masterclass in the multifaceted character of the Simcoe hop, utilized in four distinct forms to saturate this American Pale Ale with resinous intensity. This pale golden pour leads with a high-intensity aroma of fresh pine needles, grapefruit zest, and a touch of passion fruit, supported by a subtle, clean, bready malt base. On the palate, the hop experience is layered and profound, moving from bright citrus to deep, earthy resin. A firm, assertive bitterness defines the structure, guiding the experience toward a bone-dry and crisp finish. The quadruple-threat hop application ensures a lingering, clean hop presence without any vegetal harshness.

Appearance. Pale golden (approx. 6 SRM) with a moderately large, white, creamy head showing excellent retention and lacing. Brilliant clarity.

Aroma. High-intensity hop aroma dominated by Simcoe. Pronounced notes of resinous pine, grapefruit pith, and subtle tropical undertones. Low neutral, grainy maltiness provides a clean background. Very low fruity esters.

Taste. Initial impression of punchy resin and citrus. Distinct Simcoe flavors of pine and earthy grapefruit. High bitterness is assertive but well-integrated. Neutral malt character is supportive and lean. Finish is notably dry and clean, with a lingering piney aftertaste.
