This Dark Mild is a quintessential session ale designed for autumnal fireside drinking. Aroma. Moderate intensity featuring a toasty and bready malt character. Notes of caramel, toffee, and a subtle spicy graininess from the rye are present. Low spicy and earthy hop aroma is secondary to the malt, accompanied by very low dark fruit esters such as plum.

Delicate layers of caramel and faint chocolate are balanced by a low bitterness (approx. 15-20 IBU) and a subtle spicy hop flavor. Mouthfeel. Medium-light body that feels supple and smooth rather than thin. Carbonation is low, consistent with traditional cask service, with no alcohol warmth and zero astringency.
