Elektrárna Juno IPL
This German Pils showcases a modern hop profile featuring Juno and Uran varieties, delivering a vibrant herbal and spicy punch with a subtle fruit-forward undertone. The base is built on a foundation of Pilsner and Bavarian malts, providing a crisp, toasted cracker and light honey character that supports the assertive bitterness. It pours a brilliant deep gold with a long-lasting, creamy white head. The fermentation is exceptionally clean, allowing the interplay between the minerally finish and the distinctive modern hops to shine. Refreshing and lean, it balances traditional lager structure with innovative, resilient hop expression for a crisp, structured finish.
Appearance. Deep yellow to gold (3-4 SRM); brilliant clarity; persistent, creamy white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. Moderate to high hop intensity, featuring floral, herbal, and distinct spicy notes from Juno and Uran hops. Low grainy-sweet and lightly toasted malt character from the Pilsner and Bavarian malts. Clean fermentation profile with no esters or diacetyl.
Taste. Initial crisp grainy-sweetness quickly superseded by a firm, assertive hop bitterness. Hop flavors mirror the aroma with herbal and spicy qualities and a touch of earthiness. The finish is very dry and crisp with a lingering minerally bitterness and clean aftertaste. Well-attenuated and balanced toward the hops.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body; high carbonation; very low alcohol warmth; crisp and refreshing with a slight minerally snap; no astringency.
