This vibrant Double IPA centers on an explosive hop profile, driven by a double dry-hopped blend of Freestyle Motueka, Mosaic, and Citra Cryo. The inclusion of oats provides a silky, supportive foundation for intense aromatics of zesty lime, crushed pineapple, and ripe berries. Bright citrus oils and resinous pine notes emerge on the palate, balanced by a clean, neutral malt backbone that allows the hops to remain the focal point. Despite its 8.5% ABV, it finishes with a smooth, well-integrated warmth and a firm, lingering bitterness that invites another sip, embodying a modern, high-impact approach to the Double IPA style.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (7-9 SRM) with a moderate, persistent off-white head that leaves thick lacing. The appearance shows a slight, uniform haze characteristic of a high-protein oat grist and heavy dry-hopping.

Aroma. Intensity is high, dominated by tropical and citrus hop notes. Motueka provides distinct lime zest and mojito-like scents, while Mosaic adds layers of blueberry and papaya. Citra Cryo contributes concentrated grapefruit and passion fruit. A very low, neutral, grainy malt sweetness sits in the background alongside a faint, clean alcohol note.

Taste. The initial impression is an aggressive wave of hop flavor, mirroring the lime, berry, and grapefruit found in the aroma. Bitterness is moderately high but smooth, avoiding harshness. The malt character is low and soft, featuring a clean, bready quality from the oats. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering resinous hop aftertaste and a clean fermentation profile.

Mouthfeel. The body is medium-full with a notably smooth, creamy texture derived from the oats. Carbonation is moderate. A gentle, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present, though it remains polished and lacks any hot or solventy edges.
