Spellcheck is a vibrant American IPA that showcases a modern hop profile atop a complex, oat-heavy grain bill. The aroma is dominated by the citrus and tropical notes of Citra and Azacca, backed by the classic piney resin of Chinook. Thanks to the use of Voss Kveik yeast, a subtle orange peel ester complements the hop-forward character. The malt base, featuring Extra Pale and Vienna malts, provides a light, toasted cracker foundation, while a trio of oats—Naked, Flaked, and Oat Malt—imparts a notably smooth, silky texture. It finishes dry and crisp with a firm, refreshing bitterness and a clean fermentation profile.

Appearance. Medium gold with a slight modern haze. Pours with a persistent, medium-sized white head that exhibits good retention and provides fine lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of grapefruit, lime, and tropical pineapple from Citra and Azacca. A supporting layer of resinous pine and light spice from Chinook follows. Low, clean, bready maltiness and a hint of orange citrus esters from the kveik yeast are present.

Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward with intense flavors of mango, citrus, and resin. A medium-high bitterness is clean and well-integrated. The malt profile is low but supportive, offering a light toasted grain character from the Vienna and Extra Pale malts. Finishes dry and crisp with a lingering hoppy aftertaste and no harshness.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a noticeably smooth, creamy texture derived from the high oat content. Carbonation is moderate-high. There is no astringency and very little perceived alcohol warmth.
