This Session IPA offers a vibrant sensory journey, showcasing a lush tropical profile despite its lower gravity. Driven by a blend of Idaho 7, Simcoe Cryo, and Amarillo Cryo, the profile is dominated by intense bursts of fresh pineapple and sun-ripened peach, layered with bright orange zest. The malt presence remains understated, providing a clean, grainy backdrop that allows the hop-derived stone fruit and citrus to lead. A gentle, approachable bitterness ensures high drinkability for warm summer days. Reference to the American IPA style is maintained through its hop-forward balance, finishing crisp and dry with a lingering trail of tropical fruit and pine.
Appearance. Pours a brilliant medium gold with a fluffy, persistent white head that leaves delicate lacing on the glass. Clarity is high with a slight, inviting haze.
Aroma. An intense hop-forward bouquet featuring distinct notes of tropical pineapple, juicy peach, and bright orange citrus. Subtle resinous pine and floral undertones emerge as the beer warms, supported by a very low, clean, grainy malt sweetness.
Taste. High hop flavor delivering a cocktail of pineapple, stone fruit, and citrus zest. A light, grainy malt backbone provides support without adding weight. The bitterness is moderate and smooth rather than aggressive, balancing the fruit character. It concludes with a crisp, dry finish and a clean, hoppy aftertaste of orange peel.
