OiOi presents as a bright and refreshing American Lager with a contemporary Hoppy Lager twist. It leads with a clean, neutral grain profile reminiscent of fresh crackers and sweet corn. The hoppy designation introduces an elevated floral and spicy hop presence that remains approachable, complementing the beer's high carbonation and crisp, dry finish. Despite the increased hop focus, the palate remains light-bodied and exceptionally well-attenuated, ensuring high drinkability. This lager balances subtle grainy sweetness with a delicate herbal bitterness, offering a vibrant, modern take on a classic sessionable style that emphasizes clarity and a snappy, refreshing mouthfeel.
Appearance. Pale straw color (SRM 2-3). Brilliant clarity with a white, frothy head that shows moderate persistence and light lacing.
Aroma. Low intensity malt aroma with notes of sweet grain and crackers. The hop character is moderately low, displaying clean floral, spicy, and herbal notes. Extremely clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Relatively neutral palate with a crisp, dry finish. Low grainy malt flavor is present, balanced by moderately low floral and herbal hop flavor. Bitterness is low but slightly more defined than traditional examples, supporting a clean and refreshing aftertaste.
