EDIT Brewing Grain Breaking
Grain Breaking is a rustic Rye IPA that celebrates local Chiaravalle rye in collaboration with panificio Davide Longoni. This golden, clear ale balances the distinctive peppery, spicy snap of the rye against a lush, tropical backdrop of mango and pineapple driven by generous additions of American hops. Despite its artisanal, grainy complexity, the beer remains highly approachable and fluid, leading to a crisp, refreshing finish. The interplay between the earthy, rustic cereal notes and the vibrant fruit character creates a sophisticated twist on the Specialty IPA style, concluding with a firm, pleasant bitterness that invites another sip.
Appearance. Deep golden color with brilliant clarity. Pours with a persistent, off-white, fine-textured head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.
Aroma. Moderate to high hop intensity featuring prominent tropical notes of mango and pineapple. These fruit esters are layered over a rustic, spicy, and slightly peppery rye grain character with a clean, low-intensity cracker-like malt background.
Taste. Initial impressions of sweet tropical fruit give way to a characteristic rye spiciness that feels peppery and earthy. The malt profile is bready and rustic. Bitterness is medium-high and firm, supporting a dry finish that showcases a clean, lingering hop bitterness and a touch of grain-derived spice.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with moderate carbonation. The rye provides a signature silkiness to the texture without being heavy. Very low alcohol warmth and a clean, non-astringent finish.

Rustica ed allo stesso tempo incredibilmente scorrevole, al naso ed al palato i sentori sono fedeli tra loro; si percepiscono note speziate e quasi piccanti di segale che pian piano si fondono con i sentori freschi e fruttati di mango ed ananas conferiti dalla luppolatura. Piacevolmente fruttata ed amara nel finale.
