Edge Brewing’s Ziggy presents a vibrant sensory kaleidoscope that leans heavily into its hop-forward identity. As a sessionable American IPA, it bursts with a complex array of tropical fruit and pungent, dank aromatic notes. The sensory experience is defined by these luscious hop layers, which dance over a clean and supportive malt backbone. Though the hop intensity is high, the finish remains remarkably smooth, showcasing a light-bodied elegance that prioritizes refreshment. Subtle notes of pineapple and resinous pine lead into a clean, balanced sweetness from the malt, culminating in a crisp, easy-drinking finish that invites another sip.

Appearance. Medium gold to light reddish-amber with a range of 7 to 10 SRM. Generally clear, though a light haze may be present. Topped by a medium-sized white head with good persistence and light lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring a kaleidoscope of tropical fruit, melon, and dank resin. A low, clean, grainy maltiness supports the hop presentation. Fermentation character is neutral and clean.

Taste. Strong hop flavors of tropical fruit and resinous pine dominate the initial impression. Low grainy maltiness provides a balanced sweetness that offsets a mild bitterness. The finish is dry to medium-dry, leaving a clean and hoppy aftertaste without harshness.

Mouthfeel. Light to medium-light body with a smooth, refreshing texture. Carbonation is moderate to high. No alcohol warmth is perceived, and the beer lacks any astringency.
