Edge Brewing Edge Pils

Pilsner 5 º 35 IBU
Edge Pils is a sharp and modern interpretation of a German Pils, balancing classic elegance with an assertive hop-forward edge. This bright lager opens with a delicate yet distinct bouquet of sun-dried straw and fresh-cut hay, underpinned by nuanced layers of field grass and noble spice. On the palate, the experience is defined by its crisp, refreshing nature, where a subtle, grainy sweetness from the malt is quickly overtaken by a firm, medium bitterness. The finish is remarkably clean and dry, leaving a lingering herbaceous trail that invites another sip while showcasing a vibrant, clean fermentation profile that highlights the brewery's precision.
Appearance. Straw to pale gold (2–4 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a dense, creamy, long-lasting white head and excellent lacing.
Aroma. Moderate intensity with forward notes of spicy and herbal hops, specifically fresh grass and hay. Low grainy-sweet, cracker-like malt presence. Clean fermentation profile with no esters or diacetyl.
Taste. Initial light, doughy malt sweetness is quickly suppressed by assertive spicy and herbal hop flavors. Medium bitterness provides a firm structure. The finish is crisp and very dry with a lingering herbaceous and clean hop aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with high carbonation, providing a refreshing, prickly sensation. No alcohol warmth; smooth and clean without any harshness or astringency.
