This potent Belgian IPA showcases the signature effervescence of Duvel Moortgat, amplified by a dedicated dry-hopping with Citra from the Yakima Valley. The sensory profile is defined by an interplay between the house yeast's spicy, peppery phenols and intense bursts of fresh grapefruit and tropical fruit. Appearance. Deep gold to amber (6-9 SRM); massive, rocky, white head with exceptional retention and thick, clingy lacing; brilliant clarity with high effervescence.

Aroma. High intensity; dominant aromas of grapefruit zest, mango, and lychee from the Citra hops; secondary notes of spicy clove, black pepper, and floral esters (pear); very low cracker-like malt; no DMS or diacetyl.

Taste. Initial impression of sharp citrus and tropical fruit; mid-palate reveals a dry, bready malt backbone and peppery yeast character; high bitterness (approx. 50-60 IBU) that is firm but clean; finish is extremely dry and lingering with a refreshing grapefruit-pith aftertaste; low alcohol sweetness.
