This sophisticated Grape Ale bridges the gap between craft beer and fine wine, utilizing a 2022 harvest of whole grapes integrated into a rustic Saison base. The sensory profile is defined by elegant vinous complexity, further refined by six months of aging in Chardonnay barrels. The nose offers a bouquet of white stone fruits, delicate spicy phenols, and soft toasted oak. On the palate, the vinous character of the grapes provides a bright acidity and light tannic structure from the skins and stems, finishing remarkably dry and crisp despite the 9.2% ABV. It is a masterful, bone-dry expression of terroir and fermentation.

Appearance. Deep golden to light amber (6–8 SRM); white head with medium-low retention and fine lacing; brilliant clarity.

Aroma. High intensity; dominant white grape and stone fruit aromatics from the Chardonnay influence; supportive light bready malt; spicy yeast-derived phenols and delicate floral hop notes; subtle vanilla and toasted oak from barrel maturation.

Taste. Initial vinous burst of white grape and nectarine; low bready malt sweetness superseded by spicy fermentation esters and a mild, refreshing tartness; low hop bitterness; complex mid-palate featuring light wood tannins and oak; exceedingly dry, crisp finish with a lingering grape-skin character.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body; high carbonation with a sparkling, champagne-like effervescence; noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth; slight tannic astringency from grape skins and stems.
