Dutch Bargain

Dutch Bargain GroGro is a vibrant 'No Coast' American IPA that skillfully bridges the gap between tropical indulgence and resinous precision. This collaboration delivers a high-intensity sensory experience, melding the lush, stone fruit and citrus juice aromas typical of East Coast iterations with the assertive, piney resins and woodsy depth of the West Coast. A clean, grainy malt backbone supports the 7% ABV, providing just enough structure for the hop-forward profile to shine. It pours with a light haze but maintains a crisp, refreshing mouthfeel, finishing with a firm, lingering bitterness that defines its modern, balanced character.

Appearance. Pours a medium gold to light amber (approx. 8 SRM) with a slight haze. Topped by a medium-sized, persistent off-white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring a complex blend of tropical mango, melon, and citrus zest, balanced by deep notes of pine resin and a hint of spice. Very low, clean bready malt supports the hops without adding sweetness; fermentation is clean.

Taste. Initial impression is a burst of juicy tropical and stone fruit, followed quickly by a firm, resinous hop bitterness. Low grainy malt flavors provide a brief support before a medium-dry finish. The aftertaste is hoppy and bitter, showcasing grapefruit pith and pine needles with no harshness.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, almost creamy texture that gives way to a crisp, drying sensation. Moderate to high carbonation provides a lively mouth-coating effect, accompanied by a very light, smooth alcohol warmth.
