Crafted as a collaboration between Duration and Lost and Grounded, this Tmavé Pivo captures the elegant soul of a Czech Dark Lager. It pours a striking mahogany with a persistent tan head. The sensory profile is defined by rich, deep layers of toasted malt, caramel, and a refined suggestion of coffee, balanced by a surprisingly snappy hop bitterness. Despite its dark appearance and malt complexity, the 4.4% ABV ensures a sessionable weight. It finishes remarkably crisp and clean, marrying the indulgent Maillard richness of traditional dark malts with the refreshing, structured drinkability of a masterfully brewed lager.

Appearance. Dark mahogany color with garnet highlights (approx. 22-28 SRM). High clarity leads to a brilliant appearance, topped by a large, persistent, tan head with fine lacing.

Aroma. Moderate to high intensity. Features rich, deep malt notes of bread crust, toast, and dark caramel. Subtle nuances of sweetened coffee and a faint spicy hop presence are evident, alongside very low berry-like esters.

Taste. Leading with complex malt flavors of toasted bread and caramel, the palate quickly introduces a light coffee-like roastiness. A low, spicy hop flavor provides depth, while a snappy, moderate bitterness balances the residual malt sweetness. The finish is crisp, clean, and surprisingly dry for its color.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, moderately creamy texture. Carbonation is moderate, and there is no perceptible alcohol warmth, resulting in a very high level of drinkability.
