Duration Brewing’s Teal is a vibrant American Pale Ale that highlights a modern, juicy hop profile through a meticulous double dry-hop process. Initial additions of Riwaka and Galaxy during active fermentation create a foundational burst of zesty pink grapefruit and lush tropical fruit. The sensory experience is further deepened by secondary dry-hopping with Citra and Mosaic, which introduce layers of citrus zest and ripe stone fruit. A neutral malt base ensures the focus remains entirely on these New World hops, providing a clean, drinkable structure. The result is a bright, hop-forward ale that balances aromatic intensity with a crisp, refreshing finish.

Appearance. Pale gold (6 SRM) with a slight, modern haze. Features a persistent, frothy white head with delicate lacing and good retention.

Aroma. High intensity aroma dominated by zesty pink grapefruit, passionfruit, and mango. Secondary notes of lime zest and a hint of blueberry emerge from the heavy dry-hopping. Low, clean, bready malt supports the hops, while fermentation is clean with very subtle fruity esters.

Taste. Immediate flavors of juicy grapefruit and tropical fruit. Riwaka provides a punchy citrus character, while Galaxy adds a touch of tropical sweetness. Moderate bitterness provides structure without overwhelming the palate. Malt is supportive and slightly bready. The finish is medium-dry and clean, with a lingering note of citrus rind.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, soft texture. Moderate-high carbonation provides a refreshing, crisp prickle. No noticeable alcohol warmth or astringency.
