Nostalgia is a masterful California Common that captures the rustic elegance of the historic steam beer style. Pouring a deep amber with a soft, creamy head, it leads with the distinctive woody spice and herbal mint of Northern Brewer hops. The warm-fermented lager yeast imparts a subtle fruitiness that dances between layers of toasted malt and rich caramel flavors. On the palate, a firm, crisp bitterness provides structure, balancing the grainy malt backbone before yielding to a clean, lingering finish. This well-integrated balance of rustic hops and toasty malts creates a sessionable yet complex profile that honors tradition with every sip.

Appearance. Deep amber to light copper color with brilliant clarity. Topped by a creamy, off-white, persistent head that leaves fine lacing on the glass.

Aroma. Moderate to high intensity featuring prominent woody, minty, and herbal hop character from the Northern Brewer hops. This is supported by moderate notes of toasted bread crust and light caramel malt. Very low fruity esters are present, characteristic of warm-fermented lager yeast.
