Duration Brewing’s Into the Wild presents a vibrant sensory experience tailored for a session-strength American IPA profile. Utilizing local Norfolk barley, the grain bill provides a clean, crackery foundation that allows the hops to lead. The aroma is defined by a bright burst of tropical fruit and zesty citrus, reminiscent of mango and grapefruit. On the palate, the hop character is decidedly juicy, offering layers of pineapple and orange pith supported by a moderate, crisp bitterness. Its light-to-medium body and dry finish make it exceptionally refreshing, capturing a bright, summery essence without the weight of a standard-strength ale while maintaining a hop-forward focus.

Appearance. Deep gold to light amber (7–9 SRM). Pours with a medium-sized, white head with good persistence and light lacing; clarity is clear to slightly hazy.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of passion fruit, pineapple, and citrus zest. A low, clean, grainy-sweet malt presence from the Norfolk barley provides a subtle backdrop. Fermentation is clean with negligible yeast esters.

Taste. The initial impression is hop-forward and juicy. Flavors of tropical mango and bright citrus dominate, followed by a medium-high hop bitterness that remains clean and lacks harshness. The malt provides a low, toasted-grain support. Finishes dry and crisp with a lingering, hoppy aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, refreshing texture. Moderate to high carbonation provides a lively tingle on the tongue. No perceptible alcohol warmth.
