This Belgian Pale Ale bridges traditional European craftsmanship with bold American hop character. A rich, toasty foundation built on Vienna and Munich malts provides a robust bready depth that balances the vibrant yeast esters of pear and orange. The addition of Columbus and Centennial hops introduces a resinous, piney, and citrusy punch, elevating the sensory intensity beyond standard continental examples. While remaining refreshing at 5.5% ABV, it maintains a smooth, medium body with a vibrant hop presence. The result is a beautifully balanced ale where classic Belgian fruitiness meets the bold, resinous strength of a draft horse.

Appearance. Deep amber to light copper (10-14 SRM) with very good clarity. Topped with a thick, creamy, rocky white head that shows excellent retention and leaves consistent lacing.

Aroma. Moderate intensity featuring a rich bready and toasty malt profile from Vienna and Munich malts. Balanced esters of pear and orange zest are met with a more aggressive, resinous, and citrusy hop character. Low peppery yeast phenols add complexity.

Taste. Initial impression is soft and smooth with flavors of toasted bread and light biscuit. The mid-palate reveals moderate fruitiness of apple and orange, quickly followed by a firm, resinous hop bitterness. Columbus and Centennial hops provide a lingering piney and grapefruit-like finish that is dry and clean.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly creamy palate. Carbonation is moderate to high, providing a refreshing prickle. Alcohol warmth is very low and well-integrated.
