This American Pale Ale is crafted for ultimate snackability, offering a lean and snappy profile. A base of Lager and pale malts combined with flaked rice creates a very light, neutral foundation that allows the hops to take center stage. The sensory profile is defined by the vibrant contribution of Riwaka and Nelson Sauvin hops, which impart bright notes of lime zest and crushed white grape. A unique addition of MSG acts as a flavor enhancer, amplifying the citrus and tropical notes while driving a savory depth. The result is a super dry, refreshing ale with a vivid hop-forward finish.

Appearance. Pale straw to light gold (SRM 3-5). Brilliant clarity with a frothy, bright white head that exhibits moderate retention and light lacing.

Aroma. Moderate-high intensity featuring sharp lime zest and pithy citrus from Riwaka hops, complemented by the characteristic gooseberry and white grape esters of Nelson Sauvin. The malt character is neutral and very low, showing faint cracker and grainy notes from the rice. The fermentation profile is very clean with no notable phenols.

Taste. Clean hop flavors of lime and tropical white wine dominate the initial impression. Bitterness is moderate and well-balanced, supporting a lean malt profile that offers subtle bready notes from the Lager malt. The finish is exceptionally dry and snappy, with lingering citrus zest and a distinctive, flavor-popping savory quality. No harshness or cloying sweetness is present.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a crisp, effervescent character from moderate-high carbonation. Alcohol warmth is negligible, and the finish is smooth and refreshing with no astringency.
