Dupont Cervesia is an evocative Spice, Herb, or Vegetable Beer that artfully blends the brewery’s signature farmhouse character with an ancient botanical profile. Built on a base of wheat and barley malts, it pours a luminous blonde with a massive, rocky head. The aroma is a complex tapestry of floral notes and intricate spices, underpinned by the classic peppery esters of the Dupont house yeast. Appearance. Deep gold to blonde (SRM 4-6) with a brilliant to slightly hazy clarity from bottle conditioning. Produces a voluminous, snow-white, rocky head with exceptional retention and dense Belgian lacing.

Aroma. High intensity and multi-layered. Prominent floral and botanical spice notes mingle with peppery yeast esters. A clean, grainy malt presence from the wheat and barley provides a soft backdrop, while earthy and herbal hop aromas add further complexity without overshadowing the spice.

Taste. Leads with a refreshing, sharp spicy character and a subtle tang from the wheat malt. The flavor is peppery and herbal, supported by a moderate bitterness that dries out the palate. Fermentation character is clean but expressive, featuring hints of clove and black pepper. It finishes remarkably dry and crisp with a lingering botanical aftertaste.

Por encargo de la “Archéosite d'Aubechies”, esta cerveza fue creada en 1983. Los aromas de flores y hierbas, un toque muy fresco y especiado pero también muchos aspectos ocultos son el resultado de una mezcla de cebada y malta, lúpulo y muchas hierbas y especias diferentes. Una verdadera refermentación en botella, incluso durante muchos años en su bodega, da como resultado una cerveza muy particular.

La Brasserie Dupont hace ciertamente parte de la historia de la cerveza belga. Se elabora una cerveza sin interrupción desde 1844.
