Brasserie Dunham’s Cyclope Epsilon is a vibrant American IPA that showcases a distinct Southern Hemisphere hop profile. The sensory experience is lead by the unique contribution of Nelson Sauvin and Rakau hops. Expect a bouquet of crushed gooseberry, white wine grapes, and pungent passion fruit from the Nelson Sauvin, seamlessly blended with the ripe stone fruit and apricot notes characteristic of Rakau. This moderately strong ale maintains a clean, grainy malt backbone that allows the resinous New Zealand hop character to take center stage, finishing with a crisp, refreshing bitterness and a dry, aromatic lingering aftertaste of tropical fruit.
Appearance.Medium gold color with a slight haze. Features a persistent, medium-sized white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma.High intensity hop aroma featuring distinct notes of gooseberry, white grape, and passion fruit from Nelson Sauvin, alongside peach and apricot from Rakau. Low clean, grainy maltiness provides a neutral base with a clean fermentation profile.
