This farmhouse ale presents a unique malt foundation derived from malts baked as loaves, imparting deep, toasted bread crust and caramelized sugar notes. Within the Saison framework, these rich, baked-grain aromas harmonize with moderate fruity esters of pome fruit and a subtle, peppery phenol. The palate is defined by its high attenuation, delivering a dry, refreshing finish that balances the initial malt richness with a firm, spicy bitterness. It is an effervescent, artisanal experience where traditional farmhouse funk meets the distinct, savory-sweet character of oven-toasted grains.

Appearance. Deep amber to copper in color (12-16 SRM) with a slight haze from its unfiltered nature. It features a long-lasting, dense, ivory head that leaves persistent Belgian lace on the glass.

Aroma. High aromatic intensity featuring a complex blend of toasted bread crust and caramelized grains from the baked malt loaves. This is complemented by moderate fruity esters of apple and pear, alongside a low spicy, peppery yeast character and faint earthy, continental hop notes.

Taste. The initial impression is of rich, toasted malt and rustic grain, followed quickly by a spicy yeast profile. Hop flavor is low and earthy, while bitterness is moderate, providing balance to the malt-forward start.
