Dundulis Aušrinis reimagines the traditional German Pils through a modern, hop-forward lens. The foundation is built on grainy, cracker-like malts and a soft, earthy bitterness derived from traditional German hops. However, the sensory experience is elevated by a vibrant whirlpool and dry-hop addition of Mosaic and Citra. These varieties introduce bright layers of tropical fruit, citrus zest, and a juicy character that intermingles with the clean, crisp lager profile. It maintains the refreshing, dry finish characteristic of the style while offering a bold, New World aromatic punch. The result is a brilliantly clear, pale gold lager that balances old-world precision with West Coast intensity.

Appearance. Straw to deep yellow (3–4 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a creamy, long-lasting white head and excellent lacing.

Aroma. Moderately high intensity. Pronounced notes of mango and passionfruit from Mosaic hops and citrus zest from Citra. Underlying these are flowery and herbal traditional German hop notes. Low grainy-sweet, cracker-like malt character with a clean, ester-free fermentation profile.

Taste. Initial grainy malt flavor is quickly overcome by a complex hop profile featuring tropical fruit and citrus. A softer, earthy bitterness provides a firm backbone without being harsh. The balance is decidedly hop-forward, leading into a crisp, very dry finish. Aftertaste lingers with a touch of citrus peel and floral honey.
