Pouring a brilliant straw-yellow with a resilient white head, it leads with an assertive bouquet of Classic New Zealand hops, delivering distinct layers of zesty citrus, cracked spice, and subtle tropical fruit. The palate is defined by a crisp, dry lager profile where a lean, grainy malt base supports a firm, lingering bitterness. Clean fermentation ensures a refreshing finish, making it a bright, hop-forward interpretation that balances traditional pilsner snap with modern, fruity hop intensity.
Appearance. Pale straw to light yellow with brilliant clarity. Features a thick, creamy white head with excellent retention and fine lacing.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity. Bright floral notes transition into citrus zest and spicy undertones. A light doughy or cracker-like malt sweetness provides a subtle foundation, while hints of tropical fruit from the Classic New Zealand hops add complexity. Clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial impression of light grainy malt is quickly overtaken by high hop bitterness. Flavors of lemon peel, black pepper, and faint melon emerge. The finish is very dry and refreshing, with a lingering minerally sharpness and persistent hop bitterness that remains clean rather than harsh.
