This Fruit Beer presents a vibrant sensory profile where the zesty punch of in-house blood orange extract aligns with a trio of expressive hops. Bright, citrusy layers of Amarillo and Citra deliver intense notes of grapefruit and tangerine, while Cryo Simcoe adds a resinous depth and heightened tropical aromatics. The base IPA provides a clean malt backbone that supports the juicy fruit character without becoming cloying. The result is a refreshing, hop-forward experience where the tangy acidity of blood orange enhances the crisp bitterness, leading to a dry, fruit-flecked finish that perfectly showcases the interplay of fruit and hops.

Appearance. Deep gold to soft orange with a subtle haze. Pours with a persistent, off-white head that leaves moderate lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity citrus aromatics dominated by fresh blood orange and zest. Hop-forward notes of mango and lime from Citra and floral orange from Amarillo are supported by a clean, resinous pine character from Cryo Simcoe. Malt is low and bready.

Taste. Initial burst of tangy blood orange citrus followed by layers of tropical fruit and grapefruit hop flavors. Medium-high bitterness is crisp and well-integrated, balancing a light bready malt sweetness. The fermentation is clean, allowing the fruit and hop oils to lead into a dry, refreshing finish with a lingering zesty aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a soft, slightly juicy texture. Moderate carbonation provides a lively mouthfeel. Alcohol warmth is very low and well-integrated; no significant astringency or harshness from the fruit extract.
