Appearance. Opaque, jet black (40+ SRM). A dense, dark tan to deep brown head with moderate retention and significant lacing. High viscosity is apparent with visible legs in the glass.
Aroma. High intensity; dominated by rich roasted malt characters of dark chocolate, cocoa, and heavy-roast coffee. Moderate esters suggestive of prunes and black currants. Low but noticeable resinous and earthy hop aroma. Integrated alcohol warmth is present without sharpness.

Vol donker geroosterd mout, cacao, en een zachte bitterheid die alles samenbrengt. Soms moet je eerst doordraven om uiteindelijk precies goed uit te komen.
