DÚA Sparkling Beer LISA
This session-strength Saison presents a vibrant, refreshing profile defined by its sparkling effervescence and gluten-free composition. Aromas of zesty lime and subtle watermelon intertwine with classic peppery yeast esters and earthy Continental hop notes. On the palate, a delicate balance of citrus acidity and fruit sweetness leads to the characteristic high attenuation of the style, resulting in a bone-dry, crisp finish. The light body and lively carbonation make it exceptionally approachable. Despite the session-strength ABV, it retains a complex fermentation character, blending rustic grain notes with a bright, summery, fruit-forward personality that remains light and crisp.
Appearance. Pale gold with brilliant clarity. Pours with a dense, rocky, white head that exhibits excellent persistence and leaves delicate lacing. Highly effervescent with a continuous stream of rising bubbles.
Aroma. Moderate intensity featuring a refreshing bouquet of fresh lime zest and subtle watermelon flesh. These fruit notes are layered over a spicy, black pepper yeast character and low, floral hop aromas. A light, grainy malt sweetness provides a clean backdrop without any detectable DMS or diacetyl.
Taste. Initial citrus-led brightness from the lime, quickly followed by a hint of watermelon fruitiness. The middle palate reveals a soft, grainy malt profile and moderate hop bitterness. Fermentation character is spicy and clean. The beer is highly attenuated, finishing very dry and crisp with a lingering peppery and citrusy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Light-bodied with a very high, prickly carbonation that provides a sparkling sensation on the tongue. No alcohol warmth is present given the session strength. Smooth and crisp with no astringency.
