Dúa Sparkling Beer

This session-strength Saison reimagines the Belgian farmhouse tradition as a vibrant, gluten-free sparkling beer. It delivers an assertive hop profile that showcases vivid layers of black currant and vinous white grape alongside tropical bursts of passion fruit and pineapple. The yeast-driven esters of a traditional Saison remain essential, providing a subtle peppery spice that weaves through the fruit-forward hop character. Highly effervescent and remarkably dry, it offers a crisp, refreshing experience where the rustic, grainy malt foundation is intentionally lean, allowing the bright, modern hop aromatics and lively carbonation to take center stage in a clean, elegant finish.

Appearance. Pale straw to light gold (3-4 SRM). Features a dense, rocky, long-lasting white head with excellent lacing. Clarity is slightly hazy due to being unfiltered, with intense visible effervescence.

Aroma. High intensity with a modern hop profile featuring black currant, passion fruit, and white grape. These fruit notes are balanced by moderate spicy yeast esters, specifically black pepper, and a very low, clean, grainy malt character.

Taste. Initial impression is bright tropical fruit followed by a firm hop bitterness. Flavors of pineapple and passion fruit lead into a tart berry character. The malt flavor is low and grainy, providing a lean backbone for a very dry, highly attenuated finish. Aftertaste is crisp and bitter with lingering peppery phenolics.

Mouthfeel. Light body with very high, prickly carbonation that feels effervescent and champagne-like. No alcohol warmth is perceived. Very crisp and refreshing with no astringency.
