Zoning Out is a saturated DDH Hazy IPA that captures the vibrant essence of Southern Hemisphere hop profiles. The sensory experience is dominated by a complex fruit character, reminiscent of blueberry fruit leather and the lush, floral aroma of a citrus grove. As the liquid opens up, notes of white grapes and the ripest cantaloupe emerge, underpinned by a pungent, dank resinous quality described as electric jazz cabbage. The malt profile provides a soft, bready cushion that allows these intense tropical and stanky notes to shine without aggressive bitterness, resulting in a lush, fruit-forward profile that remains highly drinkable.

Appearance. Straw to light orange with a deep, opaque haze that provides a luminous shine; features a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent blueberry, cantaloupe, and white grape; a distinct resinous, dank 'stanky' character is present, supported by a low, neutral, bready malt backbone and clean fermentation esters.

Taste. High fruity hop flavor follows the aroma with notes of citrus, melon, and berry; bitterness is low to moderate and soft, never harsh. Malt is low and crackery, supporting a medium, off-dry finish with a lingering tropical and resinous aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy, and smooth texture; moderate carbonation and a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth without any astringency or hop burn.
