Super Computer presents a masterclass in modern Hazy IPA construction, utilizing a classic Citra and Mosaic foundation bolstered by a generous addition of El Dorado. The sensory experience is dominated by a layered symphony of juice, leading with vibrant notes of blood orange and mango. Distinctive blueberry and pineapple accents emerge mid-palate, complemented by a soft peach and apricot sweetness. A subtle, well-integrated dankness provides depth without introducing harsh bitterness. The mouthfeel is exceptionally smooth and approachable, carrying the heavy hop load through a balanced finish that remains clean and incredibly drinkable for its daily-driver intent.
Appearance. Straw to light orange with a luminous, opaque haze that creates a characteristic shine. Topped by a dense, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward bouquet featuring pungent tropical mango and pineapple, underpinned by bright blood orange citrus. Complementary notes of ripe blueberry and apricot merge with a clean, bready malt backdrop and a faint, resinous dankness.
Taste. Explodes with juicy tropical and stone fruit flavors, specifically pineapple, mango, and peach. The Citra and Mosaic hops contribute a zesty citrus and dark berry character, while El Dorado enhances the tropical depth. Bitterness is low and soft, perfectly balancing the grainy malt sweetness. The finish is off-dry and fruit-persistent.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a remarkably soft, pillowy texture. Carbonation is moderate, enhancing the smoothness without any astringency or hop burn. Alcohol presence is very light and well-integrated.
