This Imperial American Brown Ale presents a decadent sensory profile centered on a complex layering of roasted nuts and wood aging. Aromas of Spanish turrón, rich caramel, and toffee lead into a spirituous heart driven by Colombian aged rum. The addition of roasted almonds, hazelnuts, and walnuts creates an intense nutty depth that complements the pastry-like malt character. Hickory wood aging provides a subtle structure, balancing the dense, oily texture. Despite its strength, the palate remains remarkably balanced and avoids cloying sweetness, finishing with a lingering, intense aftertaste of walnuts and toasted hazelnut, embodying a bold, nightmare-inspired interpretation of the style.

Appearance. Dark brown with bright mahogany highlights (SRM 28–32). Features a very creamy, persistent white head that exhibits a cascading effect upon pouring. Brilliant clarity.

Aroma. High intensity of malty-rich caramel, toffee, and turrón. Pronounced nutty character from almonds and walnuts, coupled with a spirituous rum-like quality. Subtle woody notes from hickory wood aging. Low hop aroma.

Taste. Initial impression of rich, acaramelado malt and pastry notes. Deeply nutty mid-palate featuring hazelnut and walnut complexity. Medium bitterness provides balance against the high gravity without being harsh. The finish is medium-dry and spirituous, leaving a long, lingering aftertaste of roasted nuts and caramel.

Mouthfeel. Full body with a dense, oily, and viscous texture. Moderate carbonation. Noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth that is smooth rather than sharp. No significant astringency despite wood aging.
