This Black IPA delivers a striking contrast between its midnight-black hue and a vibrant hop profile. The inclusion of Chinook hops provides a robust foundation of resinous pine and grapefruit, while Pekko adds unique floral and minty nuances alongside the bright, tropical accents of the Pink hops. On the palate, the hop intensity is balanced by a restrained malt backbone featuring gentle notes of chocolate and toasted bread, avoiding any acrid or burnt character. At 7% ABV, it maintains the dry, drinkable finish of a classic American IPA, leaving a lingering, clean bitterness that highlights the collaboration's focus on hop-forward complexity.
Appearance. Deep black and opaque (35–40 SRM). Topped by a persistent, creamy, light tan head with excellent lacing.
