On the palate, the tropical fruit complexity is supported by a clean, light grainy malt presence, leading into a balanced but firm bitterness. The finish is notably smooth and crisp, leaving a lingering trail of citrus peel and pine. It perfectly captures a modern, hop-forward profile with exceptional clarity and refreshment.
Appearance. Radiant medium gold (7 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Supports a medium-sized, frothy white head with good persistence and fine lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by the Strata variety, featuring passion fruit, melon, and dried berries over a pungent, dank, and resinous base. Low, clean, bready malt notes provide a neutral background. Fermentation profile is very clean.
Taste. Initial impression is a burst of tropical fruit and citrus. Low grainy-sweet malt flavor supports a medium-high bitterness that is firm but not harsh. The Strata hop character continues with notes of mango and resinous pine. Finishes crisp and medium-dry with a lingering hoppy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly creamy texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a refreshing bite. No notable alcohol warmth or astringency.
