Drop Project Beyond is a vibrant Double IPA that showcases an intensive dry-hop regimen of Idaho 7, Strata, Mosaic, and Azacca. At 8% ABV, it presents a concentrated sensory profile bursting with ripe stone fruits, tropical mango, and a distinct layer of sticky pine resin. The malt provides a neutral, silky foundation that emphasizes hop saturation without veering into heavy maltiness. On the palate, an upfront sweetness driven by Azacca Cryo is expertly countered by a clean, citrusy finish. This creates a bold, hop-forward experience that maintains exceptional drinkability through its soft, creamy texture and refined bitterness.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (SRM 8-12); moderate-sized, persistent off-white head with excellent lacing; slight haze is present, typical of modern high-hopping rates.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent ripe apricot and peach from Idaho 7, tropical passionfruit from Strata, and blueberry notes from Mosaic. A secondary layer of sticky pine resin and grapefruit zest is supported by a low, clean, grainy malt background with a neutral fermentation profile.

Taste. Strong and complex hop flavors of mango, pineapple, and stone fruit lead the initial impression. Moderately high bitterness provides necessary structure without becoming harsh or astringent. Low, clean, supportive malt character with a soft doughy note. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering citrus and resinous hop aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a notably rich, creamy, and silky texture. Carbonation is moderate. A smooth, restrained alcohol warmth is present, reflecting the 8% ABV without being solventy.
