Beacon is a refreshing and brilliantly clear Ordinary Bitter that exemplifies the modern potential of all-British ingredients. A base of biscuity, bready malt provides a solid foundation for the distinctive hop profile. Jester hops contribute vibrant notes of grapefruit and subtle herbal depth, while Harlequin hops infuse the beer with a tropical character reminiscent of passionfruit and peach. Appearance. Pale amber to light copper in color with brilliant clarity. Topped by a low to moderate, fine-textured off-white head with fair retention and light lacing.
