Suprima is a botanical-forward interpretation of an Ordinary Bitter that utilizes Sativa hemp flowers to augment its sensory profile. This collaboration delivers a complex aromatic bouquet where the herbal, earthy essence of hemp replaces traditional hop-heavy late additions. The sensory experience is defined by vibrant notes of cilantro, fresh mint, and a zesty ginger spice, all underpinned by a clean, bready malt foundation. Bitterness is provided by Columbus hops, which lend a resinous structure that facilitates a notably dry and balanced finish. The character is uniquely balsamic and refreshing, offering a contemporary, sessionable twist on the classic British session ale style.

Appearance. Light amber to pale copper in color (SRM 8–12). The beer exhibits brilliant clarity and is topped with a low to moderate off-white head that leaves light lacing on the glass.

Aroma. Moderate intensity with a distinct botanical character. Prominent notes of fresh cilantro and mint mingle with a light, spicy ginger quality. Low bready malt aroma is present, alongside earthy and resiny notes from Columbus hops and light fruity fermentation esters.

Taste. Initial botanical impression dominated by hemp-derived flavors of mint, cilantro, and peppery spice. Low biscuity and toasted malt flavors provide a brief support before a moderate bitterness takes hold. The finish is very dry and clean, characterized by a unique balsamic and resinous aftertaste that lingers pleasantly.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with moderate carbonation. It is smooth and highly drinkable with no perceptible alcohol warmth and a crisp, refreshing finish.
