This collaborative Session Hazy IPA presents a punchy, lupulin-forward experience that mirrors the sensation of opening a bag of raw hops. Massive whirlpool additions of Mosaic, Citra, Simcoe, Amarillo, and Idaho 7 create an aromatic profile that leans into fresh, herbaceous greenery alongside underlying notes of tropical citrus and pine. Despite its sessionable strength, it maintains a structured medium body with a soft, smooth texture typical of the style. The finish is characterized by a unique spicy hop tickle and a restrained bitterness, ensuring high drinkability while showcasing the complex, resinous depth of its intensive multi-hop blend.
Appearance. Straw to pale gold (3–5 SRM); very hazy, nearly opaque with a luminous shine. Persistent, meringue-like white head with dense lacing.
Aroma. High intensity; dominated by fresh-cut grass and pungent herbal hop pellets. Layers of grapefruit, mango, and pine emerge behind the initial herbaceous punch. Clean, light bready malt provides a subtle, neutral foundation with no caramel or toast.
Taste. Leading with vibrant hop flavors of mango and citrus pith, transitioning into a resinous, herbal mid-palate. Low bready malt sweetness supports the hop character. Bitterness is mild but noticeable (low-medium), leading to a crisp, slightly spicy, and clean finish that avoids any harsh astringency.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a soft, rounded mouthfeel. Moderate carbonation provides a gentle prickle. No perceptible alcohol warmth; very smooth and highly drinkable.
