This comforting Sweet Stout offers a nostalgic sensory profile reminiscent of chocolate milk, achieved through a progressive, vegan-friendly approach. Massive additions of Malted and Flaked Oats create a creamy, velvety foundation that carries deep, rich milk chocolate flavors derived from ethically sourced Baron Hasselhoff cacao husks and nibs. The sensory experience is defined by these Vanuatu-origin cacao notes, supported by a subtle touch of caramel malt for depth. A delicate bitterness from Saaz hops provides essential balance on the palate, ensuring the lingering chocolate sweetness remains approachable and sessionable at a lower alcohol strength.
Appearance. Opaque, deep ebony to black in color (approx. 35 SRM). Thick, creamy tan head with excellent retention and light lacing.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity of rich milk chocolate and roasted cacao. Underlying notes of toasted grain and a hint of caramel sweetness. Low earthy hop character from the Saaz and very low fruity esters.
Taste. Initial impression of sweet, creamy chocolate. Dominant flavors of dark cocoa and malted grain. The sweetness is substantial but balanced by a moderate bitterness from the Saaz hops. Finishes smooth and sweet with a lingering chocolate-covered oat character.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full to full body with a notably creamy, silken texture from the heavy use of oats. Moderate carbonation. No perceivable alcohol warmth.

In an effort for total inclusion and a progressive approach, we are developing with our mates at Chocstock a beer that can tick all of the boxes and be the perfect pairing with some of the world's finest chocolates presented for Chocstock 2024!
With Cacao Husks and Cacao Nibs from Baron Hasselhoff, we are supporting a market of fair treatment for Pacific farmers and support of ethically sourced Vanuatu cacao.
Flavours: Expect deep and rich milk chocolate flavours with just the right amount of bitterness from Saaz Hops to keep it balanced on the palate. We will take it to the next level by adding massive amounts of Malted and Flaked Oats with a touch of caramel malt and Maltodextrine to give the same body as lactose would, whilst bolstering the smooth oat mouthfeel.
