Helles Yeah is a bright, shiny tribute to the classic Munich Helles, pouring a brilliant pale gold. It opens with an inviting aroma of moderate grainy-sweet malt, showcasing the clean profile of Pilsner malt and specialty malts. A subtle presence of traditional German hops provides delicate floral and herbal notes that dance above a clean fermentation profile. On the palate, this lager is exceptionally smooth, showcasing a rounded malt richness that stops just short of being sweet. The finish is soft and dry, driven by a restrained bitterness that ensures high drinkability. It is a refined, crisp lager where the malt provides a sophisticated depth.
Appearance. Pale gold (4 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Features a persistent, creamy white head with fine lacing.
Aroma. Moderate intensity with a dominant grainy-sweet malt character. Low floral and spicy hop notes are present. Fermentation is very clean, lacking any fruity esters or diacetyl.
Taste. Initial impression is moderately malty and soft. Grainy-sweet malt flavor leads the palate, supported by low bitterness (approx. 20 IBU). Low floral hop flavor emerges mid-palate. The balance is firmly malty but not cloying. Finish is soft and dry with a clean, lingering malt aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Smooth and well-lagered character with no perceived alcohol warmth and zero astringency.
