Double Vision Brewing’s take on a Wild Specialty Beer is a vibrant, cross-cultural collaboration that fuses the nostalgic botanicals of cola with the electric citrus punch of real lemon and yuzu. This sessionable ale opens with high-toned aromas of zesty yuzu and citrus oils, underpinned by the warm spices of cola. The palate is defined by an approachable sour base that provides a refreshing tartness, balancing the aromatic cola sweetness without feeling heavy. It is a crisp, effervescent experience where the tropical fruit notes and botanical complexity create a unique, dry, and highly drinkable sensory journey.
Appearance. Pale gold to light amber with a soft, brownish tint (SRM 6-9); produces a thin, white to off-white head with moderate retention; clarity is slightly hazy due to the inclusion of real citrus juices.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity; prominent zesty yuzu and fresh lemon peel aromas dominate, followed by botanical hints of cinnamon, vanilla, and nutmeg from the cola; a light lactic tartness and subtle earthy funk provide a clean fermentation backdrop.
Taste. Initial burst of bright, acidic yuzu and tart lemon, quickly followed by the distinct, spicy-sweet profile of cola. The malt is a neutral canvas, allowing the specialty ingredients to lead. Bitterness is very low, letting the approachable sourness provide the structure. The finish is dry and clean with a lingering citrus zest aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Light body with a crisp, refreshing texture; high carbonation provides a lively, tongue-tingling sensation; zero alcohol warmth; very low astringency from the citrus zest.

The brief was simple; how do we take one of our specialities and bring you all a taste of Thailand? We required the result to be Refreshing, Delicious Year Round and something to stand out in a saturated Fresh Hop Market market.
Just like a tuktuk gets filled to the brim with fruit, this beer gets filled to the brim with deliciousness from Real Lemon and Yuzu! This combination offers these delicious tropical fruit flavours, complimenting the notes from the cola flavours and giving something interesting, yet approachable.
