Appearance. Medium gold color (8 SRM) with a slight, attractive haze. It features a medium-sized, off-white head with good persistence and light lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop and botanical aroma. Prominent notes of resinous juniper and orange zest mingle with gooseberry and tropical fruit. A distinct spicy undertone of cracked black pepper and coriander is supported by a very low, clean, grainy malt profile.
Taste. Initial impression is a burst of citrus and orange blossom followed by a firm, resinous bitterness. The Bruce hop blend provides flavors of ripe tropical fruit and gooseberry, while the juniper and coriander add a dry, herbal depth. Finishes medium-dry and crisp with a lingering peppery spice and hoppy, bitter aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, crisp texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a refreshing prickle on the tongue. Alcohol warmth is very light and well-integrated, with no astringency.
