Doskiwis Sometimes Always is a vibrant American IPA that emphasizes a modern, juicy hop profile while maintaining a classic dry finish. Intense bursts of citrus and tropical fruit from Citra hops lead the charge, supported by the resinous, earthy pine undertones characteristic of Simcoe. This hazy-leaning ale delivers a lush, hop-forward experience that remains exceptionally drinkable. The clean fermentation allows the nuanced interplay of zesty grapefruit and passionfruit to shine over a subtle, grainy malt base. Balanced yet decidedly hop-centric, it concludes with a crisp, refreshing bitterness that invites another sip, perfectly capturing the essence of a contemporary, aromatic pale ale.
Appearance. Medium gold (approx. 7 SRM) with a noticeable haze. Topped with a persistent, medium-sized white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by bright citrus zest, grapefruit, and tropical fruit notes from Citra. Secondary layers of resinous pine and subtle woodsy spice from Simcoe provide depth over a low, clean, bready malt background.
