Twitching is a vibrant Hazy IPA that showcases a high-intensity hop profile driven by the combination of Citra and Wai-iti cryo. The Wai-iti cryo hops contribute lush layers of ripe peach and apricot stone fruit, while Citra provides a sharp citrus counterpoint of lime zest and tropical mango. This beer pours with a characteristic opaque glow and a dense, rocky white head. On the palate, the experience is remarkably soft and juicy, balancing low perceived bitterness against a grainy, bready malt backbone. The finish is clean and off-dry, leaving a lingering impression of tropical zest and velvety stone fruit sweetness.
Appearance. SRM 4; pale straw to light gold with a deep, opaque haze that provides a soft glow. Features a thick, meringue-like white head with exceptional retention and decorative lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical mango, passion fruit, and bright lime from the Citra. Secondary notes of ripe peach and apricot emerge from the Wai-iti. The malt is low and clean, providing a soft bready and grainy background without any toast or caramel character.
Taste. Massive fruity hop flavor featuring layers of stone fruit and citrus juice. The Citra provides grapefruit and tropical depth, while the Wai-iti adds a distinct peach sweetness. Bitterness is low to medium-low, well-integrated and never harsh. The malt flavor is supportive and bready, leading into a smooth, off-dry finish with a clean fermentation profile.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture. Carbonation is moderate. No astringency or hop burn is present. A very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is noticeable but subtle.
