Dos Dingos Primavera Brutal

Other Styles 7.5 º
A striking hybrid that bridges the worlds of craft beer and fine wine, this Grape Ale blends an extremely dry, highly fermentable Pilsner base with 2020 harvest Sauvignon Blanc from Bodega Narbona. The nose is highly aromatic, marrying the vibrant tropical fruit and bright citrus characters of Australian hops with the gooseberry and white currant notes of the wine. Eight months of maturation in French oak barrels imparts a sophisticated complexity, softening the crisp edges with a delicate whisper of vanilla and tannin. It delivers a remarkably refreshing, bone-dry finish reminiscent of a sparkling wine.
Appearance. Pale golden with brilliant, sparkling clarity and effervescent rising bubbles. Crowned by a pristine white, medium-low head that dissipates fairly quickly, leaving a delicate ring of lacing.
Aroma. High intensity. Dominant aromas of Sauvignon Blanc grape must, featuring gooseberry, passion fruit, and white currant. This melds seamlessly with bright citrus and tropical fruit notes from Australian hops. Underneath lies a clean, low Pilsner malt character. Subtle, refined French oak notes of light vanilla, spice, and dry wood add complexity. Fermentation is clean with zero sulfur or heavy yeast esters.
Taste. Initial impression is sparkling, bone-dry, and intensely refreshing. Prominent flavors of white wine grape, green apple, and tropical fruit blend harmoniously with citrusy Australian hop characters. Very low hop bitterness, balanced by the natural acidity of the grape and wine blend. A delicate, dry wood and light vanilla character from French oak maturation emerges in the mid-palate. Crisp, exceedingly dry, and clean finish with a lingering grape and soft oak aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Light to medium-light body with very high carbonation, creating a lively, spritzy, and sparkling wine-like mouthfeel. Crisp and highly attenuated, enhanced by a mild, refreshing acidity. Light alcohol warmth is incredibly well-integrated. No astringency from the oak.
