Multiple Identidad is a sophisticated Grape Ale that blurs the line between sparkling wine and high-gravity Belgian brewing. The inclusion of Moscatel de Alejandría must introduces an elegant floral and honeyed sweetness, which is perfectly complemented by the gooseberry and white wine characteristics of Nelson Sauvin dry hopping. Six months in French oak provides a subtle structural foundation of vanilla and fine tannins. The Belgian yeast adds a layer of spicy esters that dance alongside fresh tropical and stone fruit flavors. At 10.5% ABV, it offers a refined warmth while maintaining the style’s hallmark dry, effervescent finish.
Appearance. Brilliant clarity with a deep golden hue (6 SRM). It pours with a fine-beaded white head that shows moderate retention, leaving a light lace on the glass.
Aroma. High aromatic intensity featuring the floral and honeyed notes of Moscatel de Alejandría grapes. Nelson Sauvin hops provide a distinct white wine, gooseberry, and tropical fruit layer. Subtle peppery phenols from the Belgian yeast and a faint toasted vanilla character from French oak round out the bouquet.
Taste. Initial flavors of stone fruit and citrus lead into a complex mid-palate of vinous grape must and tropical passion fruit. The malt character is very light and supportive, allowing the fruit and hop character to dominate. It features a very low hop bitterness, finishing exceedingly dry and crisp with a light tannic structure from the French oak maturation.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a slight creaminess, yet highly carbonated to provide a refreshing, sparkling effervescence. A noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth is present, consistent with its high strength.
