Hello Summer is a bright and refreshing Blonde Ale designed for warm-weather sessionability. Its core is defined by a soft, bready malt backbone that provides a clean canvas for a vibrant dry-hop addition. The use of Mosaic and Citra hops elevates the profile with distinctive aromas of ripe mango, blueberry, and zesty grapefruit. On the palate, the beer maintains a light, approachable character with a delicate balance between gentle grainy sweetness and a mild, crisp bitterness. This combination results in a highly drinkable, fruit-forward experience that finishes clean and dry, perfectly capturing the essence of a sun-drenched afternoon.
Appearance. Pours a brilliant, pale golden color (approximately 4 SRM) with excellent clarity. It supports a moderate, frothy white head that exhibits fair retention and leaves light lacing on the glass.
Aroma. Moderate to high hop intensity featuring prominent notes of citrus zest, tropical stone fruits, and a hint of berry, driven by the dry-hopping. Beneath the hops lies a light, neutral grainy malt scent with very low fruity esters and a clean fermentation profile.
Taste. An initial impression of soft, bready maltiness leads into flavors of grapefruit and tropical fruit. The hop bitterness is medium-low, providing just enough structure to balance the malt without becoming aggressive. It finishes medium-dry and clean with a lingering hint of citrus peel.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, crisp texture. Carbonation is moderately high, enhancing the refreshing quality of the beer. There is no perceived alcohol warmth, and the finish is free of astringency.
