Domus Citra Soup is a vibrant American IPA that highlights the Citra hop with focused intensity. It opens with a bold sensory profile defined by grapefruit, lime, and tropical lychee notes. Appearance. Medium gold (7 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Pours with a medium-sized, persistent white head that exhibits good retention and leaves light lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by Citra characteristics of grapefruit, melon, and passion fruit. A low, clean, grainy malt sweetness supports the hops, while the fermentation profile remains neutral with no significant esters.
Taste. Initial impression is a sharp burst of citrus zest and tropical fruit. Medium-high bitterness provides a firm backbone against a low, crackery malt flavor. The balance is hop-forward, leading to a dry, crisp finish with a lingering, clean hop aftertaste of citrus peel.
