The pour offers a bright, effervescent experience where the primary bouquet features vivid bursts of lime, tangerine, and lemon zest. These citrus notes are gracefully interlaced with the floral perfume of jasmine flowers and the subtle, earthy tannins of black tea. On the palate, an explosion of lemony-citrus gives way to a delicate jasmine undertone, eventually receding to reveal a clean, crackery malt backbone. Refreshing and light-bodied, it maintains the style's signature dry finish while elevating the sensory complexity with its unique botanical additions.
Appearance. Pale straw to light gold (2–4 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a bright white, frothy head that has moderate retention before settling into a thin ring.
Aroma. High intensity dominated by adjuncts. Vibrant calamansi fruit provides sharp notes of lime and tangerine, supported by lemon zest. A distinct floral perfume of jasmine flowers blends with the faint, leafy character of black tea. Very low grainy malt sweetness and a clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial impression is a sharp, refreshing citrus burst of calamansi. Mid-palate introduces a subtle jasmine tea flavor and a hint of black tea dryness. Bitterness is low, allowing the lemony-citrus to lead. The finish is crisp and dry, where a light, grainy malt backbone emerges to balance the fruit and floral elements. Mouthfeel. Light body with high carbonation, providing a lively and refreshing carbonic bite. No alcohol warmth at 4.5% ABV. Crisp and clean mouthfeel with a very slight, pleasant tea-derived dryness.
