Appearance. Pours a hazy, pale gold with a moderate, fine-beaded white head. Lacing is present but light, and the carbonation is visible through the slight haze.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring notes of citrus zest, pineapple, and resinous pine. This is layered over a moderate lactic tartness and a faint, earthy, leathery wild yeast character.
Taste. Initial sharp lactic acidity that creates a sparkling sensation, followed quickly by a burst of citrus and tropical hop flavor. Bitterness is moderate and firm, balanced by the sourness rather than malt sweetness. The finish is very dry with a lingering tartness and a clean hop bite.
Mouthfeel. Light to medium-light body with high, effervescent carbonation. No significant astringency, though the acidity provides a crisp, prickly texture. Alcohol warmth is low and well-integrated.
